Author Guidelines
The Journal of ‘Intelligent Knowledge Exploration and Processing ‘ welcomes original research papers in the specialized fields of knowledge management, technology management, and information management.
- Article Submission:
To submit your article, please use the journal's online system: https://www.kdip.ir.
- Writing Format:
- The article should be typed in a simple Word file (A4 format) using the Persian Language Academy's style guide, with clear and dark fonts. All pages of the article, including those containing tables, figures, and diagrams, must have the same dimensions. Minimize the use of foreign words in the text. All pages of the article must be numbered and should not exceed 20 pages.
- Ensure that punctuation marks such as periods, commas, question marks, exclamation points, and quotation marks (. , ? ! :) are attached to the preceding word and separated from the following word. Parentheses, brackets, and quotation marks should be attached to the words they enclose and separated from the preceding or following words by one space. There should be no more than one space between words.
Some words have multiple parts that need to be written separately but as a single word, such as prefixes, suffixes, and plural markers (e.g., ‘ها’), the present tense verb ‘می’, etc. In such cases, there should be no space between the parts of the word (e.g., ‘دستها’ not ‘دست ها’ or ‘میشود’ not ‘می شود’). To remove spaces without joining two letters, use the following key combination: (-+Ctrl).
- Article Preparation:
- Each research article should be prepared using Word software and include a Persian and English abstract with keywords, introduction, theoretical background or literature review, research methodology, results, discussion, references, and a conclusion. The following principles should be adhered to:
- The author(s)' information, including name, surname, position, affiliation, academic title and degree, contact number, email address in both Persian and English, and the date and location of the research, should be submitted in a separate file (as an attachment). The corresponding author must be identified.
- The article title (maximum 12 words) should be centered on the first page. If the article is part of a series of consecutive articles, the main title of the series along with the title of each part and the sequence number of the articles should also be mentioned.
- The abstract should be concise but convey the content of the article. Avoid using references, tables, diagrams, or ambiguous abbreviations in the abstract. The abstract should not exceed 250 words and should be written in a single paragraph.
- The introduction should include information about the background of the topic, the importance of the study, and the research problem.
- Theoretical background or literature review should explain the content of the research based on reliable sources.
- The research methodology should be clearly and explicitly stated.
- Each table must be numbered and have a title positioned on the right side above it. The title should accurately describe the results presented within the table. Additionally, please ensure that the table number is referenced within the text.
- The results and discussion sections can be combined or presented separately. The discussion should involve an analysis of the obtained results in relation to the research.
- The references should include the latest information in the field. The list of references should be arranged alphabetically by the authors' surnames and numbered. When using several works by the same author, the order of numbering these articles should be based on their publication year, from oldest to newest. It is important to note that all references used in the text should be in Persian and listed at the end of the article, first in alphabetical order of Persian references, followed by English references in alphabetical order.
