Convergence of Management and Architecture in the Design of Co-Working Spaces: A New Model for Productivity and Interaction

Abstract
The co-working spaces, as one of the most significant transformations in contemporary work environments, respond to social changes and new professional needs. By combining architectural design and management, these spaces have become platforms for interaction, creativity, and productivity. However, challenges such as lack of privacy, noise control, and resource management necessitate a more thorough examination of these spaces. With the increasing demand for co-working spaces, the need for effective design and smart management of these environments has become more pressing. Understanding the relationship between space design and resource management can help create more efficient and engaging environments for users. The main aim of this paper is to examine the synergy between architecture and management in the design of co-working spaces. Additionally, identifying design components and metrics, and providing solutions to address the existing challenges are other objectives of this study. This research utilizes a case study and comparative analysis approach. Three successful co-working spaces (WeWork, Impact Hub, and The Wing) are analyzed based on design and management criteria. The findings reveal that flexible design, the use of smart technologies, and purposeful community-building are key success factors for these spaces. Moreover, dynamic business models and innovative marketing strategies play a crucial role in attracting users and increasing productivity. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating architecture and management to create sustainable and efficient environments.
