Social Media Use on Business Performance in the Mediating Role of Competitive Advantage and Relational Social Commerce Capability

Abstract
With the advent of social media, companies must learn how to use social media in their business and marketing plans for their products and in advancing their goals. This is especially important to gain a competitive advantage. The research method is applied in terms of the objective, in terms of the way of collecting data in a descriptive-survey manner and in terms of the way of analyzing the data quantitatively. The statistical population of this research is the managers of Iran Insurance Company agencies in the city of Mashhad, whose number is 629 agencies throughout the city of Mashhad, and due to the uncertainty of their volume, according to Cochran's formula, 239 people are available as sample components using the non-random sampling method. Research were selected. The measurement tool of this research was a 15-question questionnaire, whose content validity was confirmed according to the opinion of experts and construct validity based on the confirmatory factor analysis technique; Cronbach's alpha test was also used to measure the reliability of the questionnaires. Also, to analyze the data, structural equation technique was used using SmartPLS software. The results show that relational social business capabilities mediate the impact of using social media on the competitive advantage of Iranian insurance company agencies in Mashhad. Also, competitive advantage mediates the effect of Relational Social Commerce Capability on the market performance of Iranian insurance company agencies in Mashhad.
